Central Divison

Develop your public speaking skills in a relaxed friendly environment.

Speakers On The Terrace is a dynamic Toastmasters club situated 10 minutes from the city.

A friendly atmosphereWe meet every first and third Tuesday of the month at 6:45 PM for a 7:00 PM start.

What can you expect?

At a Toastmaster meeting you can expect to learn a multitude of skills that will be invaluable in your work place, personal life and for simply building your own self confidence.

Leadership skills and public speaking skills are just two of the areas you can develop in your toastmasters journey. Learn how to communicate more effectively, chair meetings, think on your feet and listen more carefully.

I've heard about Toastmasters, but what do you actually do at a meeting?

Forget some of the myths you may have heard about! Our meetings are fun and friendly. We typically have a formal business session (where you can develop skills such as chairing a meeting). We also have a number of prepared speeches delivered by our members and some unprepared speeches. Coupled with all this, we also have time for a great supper.

Everything in our meeting is evaluated, providing encouraging and useful feedback for our members to take home and build on.

Of course, as a guest, you can even have your chance to participate! Don't delay. Come along to our next meeting!

Where can you find us?

We are at the Payneham Community Centre, Payneham Road, Payneham. (Opposite Kentucky Fried Chicken).

Join us at our next meeting! Simply email us or call Anna on 0417.865.267 to let us know that you want to come. Visitors are can come along for free!

When do we meet

We meet the first and third Tuesday of each month. You can view our Area Calendar by using our Google Calendar (Note: Opens a new page). Look for SOTT Meeting!

Why not subscribe to our calendar so you don't miss important events!
